Allynn Lodge Bio
Allynn Lodge is a teacher, author, and presenter. She is passionate about using language and art to foster connections between cultures. Her book, "A Teacher's Guide to Our Story," leads teachers in planning dynamic lessons to help students acquire language and to feel known in the classroom.
She holds an M.Ed. in Art in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. in Spanish Languages and Cultures from Princeton University. She is the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship to Madrid, Spain, and was selected by the National Association of Independent Schools as a Teacher of the Future for her innovation and creativity in the classroom.
Allynn currently works at Thayer Academy, an independent 5-12 school near Boston. Besides loving language and art, Allynn enjoys hiking in the woods with her husband, young daughter, and dog.
